Mark’s practice focuses on land development with particular expertise in condominium; construction and development financing for major financial institutions; and general counsel to condominium corporations.

Mark is a frequent lecturer on real estate related issues with particular emphasis on condominium law at the Canadian Institute, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Condominium Institute.

Mark was an instructor in the Real Estate Section of the Bar Admission Course from 1994 to 2005 and has been qualified as an expert witness in the area of condominium law in proceedings before the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario) and before the Ontario Municipal Board.

Mark has been awarded the title of Fellow of the Canadian Condominium Institute for meritorious service to the condominium industry.

Mark has been certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Real Estate Law.

Mark is consistently recommended by Lexpert as a leading practitioner in Real Estate Property Development and Land Use Planning.

Publications and Appearances

Co-author of "Condominiums in Ontario: A Practical Analysis of the New Legislation", a 720 page book jointly published by the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association; Authored numerous articles for the Canadian Condominium Institute, Continuing Legal Education of the Law Society of Upper Canada; columnist for Homes Magazine and local and national newspapers.

Mark also appears regularly on local television providing real estate related advice.
